Mission Statement: To save a soul, we have accomplished our goal.
Our Mission, plain and simple, is Suicide Prevention in teens. By sharing the horrific experience we went through, we want teens to know about the destruction that is left behind. There is no beauty in suicide or dignity in death. It is the destruction of the survivors and the complete waste of a young person’s life. It is final.
We are using Suicide Prevention through real life experience. The participation in events, being present in the life of those in need and the placement of our ‘Life is More Square’. ‘Life is More Square’ will have a living garden, stone dedication and a Friendship Bench – a park bench to be used a signal for those in need. A place to listen and be inclusive. A ‘Square’ for being a friend to someone in need.
We are sharing our message through this site by telling our story. We would like to enlist any able body to be a friend when there is a need. We want you to know what signals to look for. We want you to be able to see the signs and step up to help yourself or someone you know. Make a pledge as an individual or as a group on being there and taking steps to minimize triggers. Furthermore, you can join us and so many others in coming together in the Suicide Prevention events throughout the US. Lastly, know that whatever darkness you or someone you know may be in ‘The Sun Will Rise Tomorrow’.
